Boomers & Beyond

Popular weekly column by Lyn and Bill Roche

How did it all start?

The month of November 2004 brought an exciting opportunity.  The editor of Highlands Today, affiliate of Media General, contacted Lyn and Bill Roche, veteran authors and popular public speakers, to ask if they would write a weekly column for the newspaper.  Lyn and Bill agreed and birthed Boomers & Beyond—a universal topic with broad appeal.  It quickly became a favorite!  Please take a moment to read the first installment and you’ll see why.

A New Resource!

Many readers of Boomers & Beyond now find themselves caring for aging loved ones. These readers have asked Lyn to personally address their caregiving concerns and challenges. A new column reflecting a “Dear Abby” format has been birthed. We are happy to announce the creation of The Caregivers Caregiver column. It began running in the Tampa Tribune on July 21, 2007. We invite you to visit the following link: The Caregiver's Caregiver.
